Litters are listed with AKC and are available with an AKC Breeders Certificate.   The form provided allows you to finish the registration process naming the puppy and registering in your name.   Breeding rights by special arrangement  only.  

There are many options these days.  I feed Purina Puppy Chow the first year., supplemented with eggs, milk, yogurt and canned dog food..  They will get occasional fresh meat like chicken livers.  The canned dog food is fed by the spoonful as a treat or reward for a good "sit" or "stay',  saying their name at the same time.   

Puppies are given the first 5-way vaccine at 6 weeks, the second 5-way at 8 weeks adding a Kennel cough vax,   At 4 months they will have a rabies vaccine along with the third 5-way.   If your puppy will be out hiking in the wild, it is a good idea to add a Lepto vax  anytime after 12 weeks.  (A 5-way includes  Parainfluenza, Adenovirus Types 1 (hepatitis) and 2 (respiratory disease), Distemper, and Parvovirus )  Puppies are regularly de-wormed.
